Jade Castrinos

I am loving Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros... mostly because of the hippie goddess singer Jade Castrinos. I swear, this lady hopped out of a time capsule. Her pure eyes & velvety voice are only part of the reason she is so awesome. Watch some live footage of her & you will honestly be mesmerized. Her performance is completely autonomous - all about the music and its effect. She is rad.

I happen to think they are as fake as they come how can you take this band serious once you seen him sing with Ima Robot. Please do some research before jumping on this band wagon they ate not pioneers in this genre maybe check out Devendra Bandhart he is legit

I think artists have the right to change their focus. I do it, not because I am not legit, but because we sometimes get lost in seriousness. You're entitled to your own opinion, but man can they perform.
I think people are getting tired of super processed "music" and want to go back to real hands-on creation. We've lost track of that in our digital-media-centric lives. Whether they're legit or not, they make me smile and feel good about being happy.
Stop being so damn serious.

Yeah I first heard this band on npr's music channel on youtube. I was instantly hooked. Her voice is nothing short of amazing, and she's voice. Alex voice is great and when they are singing a duet its really nice. She has a solo song with edward sharpe called "fiya wata" or "river of love" its not on their cd though so just youtube it

Yeah. She is afuckingmazing! Seriously. You summed it up best, "time capsule" "pure eyes & velvety voice" "mesmerized" "all about the music and it's effect." Basically - DITTO!

To the hater above, Alex went through Rehab to get to this point and I think he's in a better place for it and just wants to spread it.
