Have a good one y'all!

Hey there!
There is so much snow in Manhattan so I've been rather bundled up. Here's some fun stuff on the internets to keep all y'all nice and warm as well :)

These screen tests for T Magazine are awesome. They are just raw interview snippets... I, of course, love the Penelope Cruz one, the Rosario Dawson one and the Matthew Goode one.

Are you kidding? Can I have these NOW, please???

"F*ck-yeah puppies"... too cute.

I need a new book... I'm thinking of this one...

I can't wait to visit via Margutta when in Rome!

Next week I am having an Oscar party at my apartment. Appropriate recipes: blackbean and corn salsa, a yummy spicy pizza, soft pretzels, and maybe a take on the Momofuku Milk Bar "Crack Pie".

How awesome do these cereal doughnuts look?

I'm thinking of going to his concert next Friday at Bowery Ballroom...y'all should too - he rocks!

Beatle Love

How cute are these pics of George Harrison and Pattie Boyd? I think using them as inspiration for engagement or wedding photos, or even for a magazine story would be adorable. They seem so young, so lovely, so happy & free. Sheer cuteness!

Casual Wedding Days

How do you guys feel about casual weddings?
I think, if done correctly and with a ton of love & funky flair, they can be even more beautiful than elaborate circus weddings.
The biggest snowflakes I have ever seen are falling on NYC right now...Have a lovely one y'all! xoxo

Fashion Week Favorites

Fashion Week just puts NYC gals in good & glitzy moods. These are some of my very favorites, besides Ralph of course. The Row, Rag & Bone, Anna Sui, Phillip Lim and Michael Kors.

Weekend Update

Hey y'all! My oh my have I been busy... Uptown, downtown, uptown, downtown - my feet & my metro card could REALLY use a rest. Finally, I've found some couch/computer time! So, here's some funky stuff for all you out on the internets :)

Check out the new Vampire Weekend music video for their song "Giving Up the Gun" featuring an adorably goofy Jake Gyllenhaal. Also the boys of Vampire Weekend look particularly suave.

Thinking of going here or here this weekend. YUMMY!!!

Here's Ralph's Fall 2010 Collection, soooo very beautiful eh? Stevie Nicks inspired with that classic, tailored flair. Also, can I be Natasha Poly?

Boys of the '90s.

I love the shots Marley Kate took for Mishka Spring 2010.

Can't wait to wear these this summer.

Great new Calypso stuff. And a yummy new Bellini parfume.

I just got a manicure & pedicure with this color and I am infatuated. It's a perfect purpley, lilac petunia pink!

Have a great weekend dudes! Lots of love xoxo

Venus in Furs

My darling Mother took these at the J.Mendel presentation Thursday at Bryant Park. She is such a talent & I looooove her. The last is a shot of a little girl who was just hanging out at the tent - how cute?? Afterwards we met at this place (one of our faves) for dinner & wine and then went to see a show at Mercury Lounge. Somedays, Moms are just the perfect friend to have around :)

Hope Gangloff

Hope Gangloff's paintings are like snapshots of instances I feel like we all have lived. At some point, we have found ourselves cuddling among clutter or bundled up next to friends on the downtown train. The colors are bright, the lines are sketchy and the overall essence of each picture is so organic, so familiar and fantastic. Enjoy!! Ralph is at the tents tomorrow morning - very exciting! Lots of floral, sequins and suits I've seen ;)

Manhattan

I just watched Manhattan for the first time the other day and I cannot stop thinking about it. Woody Allen is such a genius writer... the script is so natural, so rye and just so fantastically "NEW YORK". I love Mariel Hemingway's role, her naive nature is so endearing and she is just so stunningly beautiful. Woody Allen's character Isaac Davis says such an adorable & romantic quote: "Why is life worth living? It's a very good question. Um... Well, There are certain things I guess that make it worthwhile. Uh... Like what... okay... um... For me, uh... ooh... I would say... what, Groucho Marx, to name one thing... uh... um... and Willie Mays... and um... the 2nd movement of the Jupiter Symphony... and um... Louis Armstrong, recording of Potato Head Blues... um... Swedish movies, naturally... Sentimental Education by Flaubert... uh... Marlon Brando, Frank Sinatra... um... those incredible Apples and Pears by Cezanne... uh... the crabs at Sam Wo's... uh... Tracy's face..." TOO CUTE and so brilliant.

Lots of love.

OlymPICS

How unbelievable are these Olympic photographs by Ryan McGinley?
They are almost dream-like due to the color and the fantastic movement. Also, the uber-hip outfits are courtesy of Rodarte! Oh man, makes me wish I was a talented skier or skater! I am lovin' the games on this freezing cold night, along with friends, watermelon licorice (we also got cinnamon - GUILTY PLEASURE MUCH?)& cocktails... xoxo

What are you up to this weekend?

Hey dudes! Any great plans this weekend?

I'm thinking of makin' these for my lovely valentines... so yummy and too adorable! You could even do some funny/cute messages like "Your kisses are my favourite" or "I like the way you move"!

RIP Alexander McQueen, you and your wonderful creativity will be missed. So so sad.

Also, it's my brother, Jensen's birthday... we are heading to his favourite restaurant, Brasserie Julien on the Upper East Side, for dinner but I have no idea what to get him! I was thinking of one of these cheeky shirts and maybe a couple of these personalized plates. He is very territorial about his food!

Really craving a spicy bloody!! I would especially love to drink one while wearing these designs in that very beach/waterview setting! Heaven!

I love this leather & crepe paper necklace. It's so delicate and so beautifully bright.

I love these accessories for adopted pups - We adopted our baby boxer Piper from New York Animal Hospital after someone dropped her off with a broken leg and gave a fake phone number. She's the sweetest lil' blessing and she could totally rock one of these fashionable collars or leashes.

I really want to check out this restaurant or one of her sister restaurants... looks so yummy & so cosy! Also, the t-shirts and canvas shopping totes are adorable!

Also, Happy Birthday to my beautiful cousin Cassidy! She is traveling Australia right now and I hope she is having the best time - surfing, flirting and beach-bumming! Love you Cass! Happy 21st Girlie!

Have a lovely Valentine's weekend y'all! Many kisses & chocolates! xoxo Paris
