On Saturday I had the pleasure of going to see The Avett Brothers at Terminal 5 here in NYC... Besides being absolutely wonderful musically, Scott and Seth Avett are the dreamiest bros I think I've ever laid eyes on. Scott is the sort-of frontman... he's shorter than Seth but has a strong and passionate voice, sparkling blue eyes, a great set of pearly whites, and style out the wazoo. Seth is the taller and kind of dopier one, but he has a sweetness oozing out of him from his honey-sweet voice to his kid-like dance moves perfected by his long limbs. The brother's music is a tribute to America, family, love and loss. They conquer all that it is to be human in this day and age: the feelings, the pain, the downright beauty and they do it with such vigor and zest. They are just beautiful hillbilly "Mountain Men" and I am so in love with their music... you should all check it out!
Have a listen & a great day!
XOXO Paris
